Cranberry harvest

I love Cranberries, I'll eat or drink them any way you give them to me. But, I always wondered wtf is up with the berries always being shown in water? I found this film that explained it. Cranberry growing is pretty weird, I'll stick with Tomato's. It's interesting though..I hope they wash those things really well.

That's really interesting, thanks for sharing that. I wondered to start with whether they were grown hydroponically but nope, they just flood it to pick them! hehe

You didn't know they harvest them by flooding the fields? Thats grade school shit.

hmm nope, didn't know that. I'm from England, we don't grow cranberries here. Don't have grade schools either ...

Maybe "grade school" lived near a bog. Down here in the South, we wouldn't know about cranberry bogs. And I found it very interesting! Why do some people think everyone knows the same things as themselves or they are stupid. Kind of narrow minded thinking if you ask me!

Thanks Pat, I learned something new, I love cranberries and always wondered why in the ads they had them floating in water... we don't have cranberries in Puerto Rico either so it was totally enlightening for me..... btw @ whoever made the comment about grade school crap, I went quite a bit further than grade school but don't mind admitting that this was totally new to me....
