Thank you, Daphne!

These are so very very cool and I'd never heard of Tipsy Pots! Daphne left me the link to this site and they look really easy to make. Thanks! I get so excited to make something cool for little or nothing. Hey, I just searched my mom's junk pile and shed and I found three old tea kettles! I'm on my way. Oh, and I found a couple of old metal watering cans. I'll bet those would work too. I have to score some more. Any other ideas? HERE is the Tipsy site.

I think that's an old insulator on the top of the tea kettle tipsys. I found a whole bucket of those!

You mean an old telephony insulator, DD? My eyes aren't very good, but that's what it looks like to me, too. They're going for a fortune in some of the antique shops around here.

How about some of the pretty colored liquor bottles cut off with little plants in them. Unusual candle holders--just throwing some ideas out--love this kin of thing. Old Shoes or boots painted bright colors! I can't wait to see what you come up with.

One thing I've seen that I know you could make very easily, and you've probably already seen them. A cup and saucer on a pole--serves as a tiny bird feeder and water station.

All great ideas. Telephone insulators seem worthless to me. We have bunches of them. I keep wondering what to do with them.

Well, I searched the junk for metal bars or leftover rebar and we had some but it was all too short. Then yesterday I got off work and was driving and someone had a free sign on some trash. I found an old standing lamp that will work perfectly. Also found wood burning tools, a whole box of them and took them too. I don't know what for yet..lol.
