See that heavy vine in the background? It's a Silver Clematis and it grows wild around here in fence rows and tree lines. I spotted a stand of it a few years ago and dug some up and planted it here for my mom. It took off and hides the neighbors house and thier shitty dogs by the end of Summer. Spreading easily 25 feet in each direction. And it's beautiful when it blooms. It's different than the hybrid Clematis, the blossoms are smaller, more abundant and intense. A silver white color. I'll take another picture when it blooms.
Now mom doesn't remember me planting it, even though she thanked me at the time and loves this plant. It's roots go to China and it was hot out when I found it. I had a helluva time wading through thorn trees and muck to bring it home. Mom is convinced a bird shit out a seed there and isn't that amazing? I just nod my head in agreement, she can't hear me talking anyway. Yeah, a shit bird named....me.
